For the price the Alvarez RD10 is very well made, it's really hard to find anything built as well in the same price range. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee. One nice thing for a beginner is that the Alvarez RD10 stays in tune very well.

The action on the Alvarez RD10 may be a little high for a beginning guitar player however it does sound very nice.

For the beginner this is a very high quality built guitar that can take the punishment a newcomer will put it through and still stay in tune.
