The Alvarez Yairi is a very light guitar, with strong volume when unplugged.

It Plays well. the neck size is smaller than some other acoustic guitars which makes it easier to play.

You'll also find an on/off button for the electronics which is a nice feature giving you control over the amplification.

On the Alvarez Yairi the electric pickup is placed in a fashion that makes you have to loosen the strings to replace the battery.

Overall: The Alvarez Yairi is a very nice guitar made of very light wood. The only problem with this is that the jack is located in a spot that is weak and can be broken if care is not taken.
