Non-locking sealed tuners, very good quality.The galveston guitars sound is full, bass and treble nicely balanced, and above all, it's loud. the sound, which is bright and singing, and sometimes spooky, on the lower strings, deep and earthy on the bass.

The stock pickups provide adequate volume and tone and are very quiet. The Tone control is very "fluid", not simply dull to bright. If you enjoy playing jazzy/blues/rocky/grungy/heavy type of music and the galveston guitar suits all of these styles very well.
