Harmony guitar

harmony guitar.

The harmony guitar was built to make optimal use of the high-mid radio spectrum of old time radio. So there's no low end at all. And no shimmery highs either. It's just very bright and present, with a sharp attack. Having said that, it's a nice guitar to play while singing without a mic. You can really strum the hell out of it and still hear your voice. The harmony guitar is great for porch blues singers and folksy types.

Action was surprisingly nice. No buzzing, not too high. This is a harmony guitar, quality finishes were never their strong suit.

The harmony guitar is loud, with sonorous bass notes and clear highs. Strummed, it is very powerful, to the point of being almost percussive when really hammered, and has a good carrying power. Picked, it is warm , clear and expressive, with deep basses and clear and resonant highs.
