User review and recommendation of the Larrivee D-03

 

Because it's not a big brand name like Martin, Taylor or Gibson, the Larrivee D-03 is an excellent value and compares equally to these other much higher priced brands. Solid mahogany back and sides, solid spruce top, not flashy just simple like a martin.

The sound and build quality is where it really compares. Almost all other guitars in the $500-600 range are made of laminated woods and just don't have the same rich full sound this one does.

Recommendation: If your looking for a rich full sounding quality guitar at a good price the Larrivee D-03 is a great guitar.
